The search happens inside célula.in, not on an open list on the internet. Each group controls what shows on its card: the leader’s phone and the group’s address start switched off, and the leader’s email starts switched on. The church adjusts this group by group.
They can find a cell group in the app itself, through the finder, without depending on somebody being at the church office right then. But for this exact case there is a tool built for it: assimilation, which welcomes the person and assigns them to a cell group, with a leader responsible for building a relationship with them. Someone who arrives on Sunday does not have to search alone.
By day of the week, time range, age range, group category and how close the group is to where they are. So they are not handed the list for the whole city, or a group that meets at an hour when they are at work.
